MainWP Pro is $199 per year for unlimited sites. If you are leaving because of that bill, a risk score will not be the cheaper console, and it will not push your updates. If you are leaving because the hub cannot tell a critical store from a quiet brochure site, that is a job you can switch this week.
One group wants another place to click “update” across client sites. MainWP, ManageWP, and WP Umbrella are that category. WP Triage is not in it. Switching the hub to a scoring tool strands the updates.
The other group already has the hub. Every Monday the dashboard shows pending plugins on most of the book, and the retainer still has one afternoon. They need a number that sorts exposure, then they go back to MainWP and run the updates that number named. That is the switch.

There is no 10-site or 25-site tier. A 50-site agency pays the same Pro price as a 5-site freelancer. WP Triage pricing does scale: Pro is $29 per month for 6–25 sites ($348 per year), Agency is $49 per month for 26–50 sites ($588 per year). Put beside MainWP Pro at $199 per year, the score is the extra line item, not the replacement line item.
Keep the MainWP hub. Connect the same URLs to WP Triage with the agent plugin. The first useful screen is a list sorted by a 0–100 score, each row already cut down to three issues and a fix order.

For remote updates, no. MainWP Pro is $199 per year for unlimited sites and pushes plugin, theme, and core updates from a self-hosted hub. WP Triage does not push updates. It is the alternative when the hub lists everything that is outdated and still does not say which site is dangerous.
For the management console, usually yes. MainWP Essentials is free. Pro is $29 per month, $199 per year, or $599 once, with no per-site fee. WP Triage Pro is $29 per month for up to 25 sites, and Agency is $49 per month for 26–50. If the only complaint is the MainWP bill, switching to WP Triage will not lower it and will remove remote admin.
Look at ManageWP for a hosted console, or WP Umbrella if you want care-plan pricing per site. WP Triage compares with both, and it still will not push the updates for you.
